GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Redemption Center On-Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of RC including assisting customers in a professional and helpful manner while maintaining the appearance of the location to company standards.  Additional responsibilities include communicating and reporting daily/weekly activities to appropriate departments, cash handling, maintaining daily operations and RC schedule.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS

• Thorough understanding of daily operations at Redemption Center including but not limited to: ability to maintain all equipment (RVM, ORWAK, Can Crusher, Floor Scrubber, pallet jack, stacker, ICASH, kiosk and POS system)

• Oversee daily RC operations and maintain compliance with company standards

• Accurate Cash handling, ICASH deposit, safe  and cash drawer access and accountability to company standards and policies

• Facilitate employee training – to ensure all RC employees are given the necessary training and tools to perform their duties as required

• Supervise RC team to include: HR forms and regulations, company policies and standards

• Assist RC Department Manager with reviews, promotions, interviews and hiring or disciplinary actions

• Communicate with other departments as needed to maintain superior customer relations and operational needs

• Demonstrate professional appearance and grooming

• May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require

• Assist manager with RC schedule

• Maintain RC supply inventory working with RC Property Coordinator to request supplies/delivery

• Maintain the location appearance including the retail backend and parking lot

• Educate customers to the BottleDrop Redemption Center system, including new account sign ups, purchase of bags/tags, demonstration of pay station and AHDD

• Assist with coverage in other locations as needed

• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude

• May be required to attend meetings or training sessions outside of normal work schedule

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Follow all company policies and procedures

• Interacting at designated locations with the staff to promote company values through ongoing training and development

• Act as the primary contact for assigned location

• May be asked to assist with the opening of new locations

 

Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Positive, upbeat and energetic individual with customer service and cash handling experience (minimum of 2 years experience)

Must be able to lift and carry up to 35+ lbs, stand for several hours a day and climb ladders

Regular work schedule will include at least one weekend day

Computer literacy a must

Reliable transportation

Must not pose a direct safety threat to himself/herself or others.

• Pay starts at: $12.00 at Wood Village and $14.00 at South Salem
• Full Time, 40 hours per week

Customer Service Associate I - Wood Village or Oregon CityRedemption Center Operations

Additional hours and early advancement opportunities may be available for those qualified.

A RC Customer Service Associate I is responsible for delivering superior customer service to customers of BottleDrop in a friendly, professional and considerate manner.  Maintain the appearance of the Redemption Center and surrounding area to company and state mandated standards.  CSA I, must possess the ability to effectively communicate both to internal departments and customers.  Must be able to operate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment and safely use redemption center tools.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS

·         Assist BottleDrop customers by introducing them to the features of BottleDrop Redemption Center, including the EZ Drop system – made up of using the kiosk, getting payment slips, bags/tags, hand counts, Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) and daily limits.

·         Maintain the appearance of the facility and its surrounding area including the parking lot to company and state mandated requirements, through regular inspection and cleaning.  This includes regular sweeping, mopping, wiping down counters/machines, dusting, windows/doors, properly storing supplies and cleaning the break room and restrooms.

·         Efficiently and accurately complete all data entry requirements and the processing of beverage containers.

·         Safely operate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment and redemption center tools.

OTHER JOB TASKS

·         Assume additional responsibilities as needed/required:

o    Opening/closing procedures

o    Cash handling

·         Assist with company events/promotions

·         Assist with the opening of new BottleDrop locations to include the In-store Communication Campaign

·         Assist with coverage at other locations as needed

·         Follow all company safety policies and procedures

·         May be required to attend meetings/training sessions outside of normal work schedule

·         May be required to work in excess of 40 hours/week periodically as business needs require

QUALIFICATIONS

• Positive, upbeat and energetic individual with customer service and cash handling experience (minimum of 2 years experience)
• General knowledge of the Oregon Bottle Bill
• Strong verbal communication skills and computer literacy
• Ability to learn the required maintenance and troubleshooting for the IT, POS and Reverse Vending equipment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35+ lbs. and stand for several hours a day
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights and weekends on a regular basis.
• Reliable transportation

Pay: $10/hour
Part-time hours available 15-25 hours a week

Service Technician - PortlandReverse Vending
JOB SUMMARY Maintenance, cleaning and servicing of Reverse Vending machines at store locations in the Portland metro area, using company equipment and vehicle for transportation. Interact in a positive manner with store personnel, customers, and the general public.
QUALIFICATIONS include basic electrical and mechanical skills, valid driver's license and good driving record.
