GENERAL JOB INFORMATION BottleDrop Redemption Centers are currently seeking upbeat and high energy individuals for Customer Service Associate positions.
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS -Providing professional and positive customer service -Assist customers by introducing them to the features of BottleDrop Redemption Center(s). -General housekeeping duties -Safely operate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment and redemption center tools.
QUALIFICATIONS -Positive, upbeat and energetic individual with customer service and cash handling experience (min. 2 years of experience). -General knowledge of the Oregon’s Bottle Bill. -Strong verbal communication skills and computer literacy. -Ability to learn the required maintenance and troubleshooting for the IT, POS and reverse vending machine equipment. -Must be able to lift and carry up to 35+ lbs. and stand for several hours a day. -Must be available to work a flexible schedule. -Must not pose a direct safety threat to himself/herself or others. -BottleDrop is a drug free work environment and a pre-employment drug screen is required.

Entry Level Maintenance Worker - PORTLANDPlant

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Maintain operation of the tote system (loading, dumping, washer and conveyors) during production shifts. Perform preventative maintenance work; troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary. Utilize basic electrical, welding, carpentry and general mechanical skills to problem solve throughout the shift. ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS • Maintain operation of the tote system during production shifts. • Perform preventative maintenance work on all plant equipment as scheduled. • Recognize proper operation of all plant equipment to include safety shutoffs and devices. • Recognize and use lock-out/tag-out devices as required. • Operate a forklift. • Efficiently use various hand and power tools. • Complete work orders and other assigned paperwork as directed. • Safely climb on top of, around and under machinery as needed. • Lift 50 lbs. up to 4 ft high as necessary. • Climb ladders and walk on catwalks as needed.

Facilities Maintenance Technician - PORTLANDReverse Vending
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION The BottleDrop Facilities Maintenance/Utility Technician is responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to, landscaping, pressure washing, leaf blowing, cleaning parking lots, debris removal and maintenance/construction related repairs to facilities. Basic interior facility maintenance support in areas of carpentry, plumbing, drywall and painting. The BottleDrop Facilities Maintenance/Utility Technician will be required to work independently with little oversight and must have the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize, for most efficient use of assets and time. This position will be required to follow and support all OBRC Policies and Procedures in accordance to our Employee Manual(s). This position will perform hands on facilities and equipment repair work while consistently demonstrating safe and efficient work practices.
QUALIFICATIONS -Possess strong communication and organizational skills -Possess an upbeat and positive attitude, be a self-starter -Must have computer skills to effectively utilize Outlook, Microsoft Office and MPulse software -Understanding of general facility maintenance and landscaping tasks and tools -Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet specified deadlines adjust to changing priorities and work independently -Familiar with OSHA safety requirements -Position will require travel and a flexible schedule or weekend shift(s) -Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and acceptable record

Perform pre-trip inspections on cube van truck. -Safely and courteously operate a vehicle and all equipment, including pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, dock plates, load locks, etc. -Proper product preparation including marking of bags, building of pallets and product groupings. -Proper preparation of drafts, accurate counts, accurate and legible math. Proper loading of trucks, insuring that all items paid for are loaded, load is properly secured and that bags are "layered" in the truck. -Completion of weekly tasks in allotted amount of time

QUALIFICATIONS • Enthusiastic attitude and upbeat personality. • The ability to sustain physical activity such as walking, climbing and lifting up to 50 pounds. • Able to wear the “Bottle Bill” mascot suit for an extended period of time. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Must have demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative member of a team. • Experience operating standard office equipment including a photocopier, FAX, telephone and computer. • Computer literacy using MS Word, Excel, email and the internet. • Willingness to complete Red Cross First Aid Training and CPR certification. • Have a valid Oregon driver’s license and clear driving record. • Must not pose a direct safety threat to himself/herself or others.
